MORERA Rooms. Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Lleida
Núria Martínez-Vernis (Barcelona, 1976) has established herself as one of the most subversive voices in contemporary Catalan poetry, recognized for a career linked to counterculture, live action and performance . Beyond books, her figure has grown linked to visceral recitals, sound experimentation and collaborations with the underground and avant-garde scene. Her work stands out for disintegrating the formal limits of metric and academic logic, opting for a fragmentary, free language with great oral power.
This poetics of overflow in his free improvisation projects, in which the word mixes with polyphony and noise, turns each reading into a unique act of shared artistic transformation. In this case, his poetic intervention as a guided tour will be based on a selection of works from the MORERA collection related to the Civil War.
