What physical, mental or emotional effect can architecture have on the individual and how does it influence the dynamics of social interaction that occur in public and private space?

From robust and monumental constructions, symbols of dominance and control, to decadent and labyrinthine apartment blocks located in peripheral neighborhoods. Different forms of architecture act as mechanisms of oppression and alienation and lead to states of confusion and disturbance and an irreparable loss of individual and collective identity. Based on the appropriation of found footage images, Brutal Moods investigates how cinema has represented brutalist buildings in its fictions, and to what extent it has been able to contribute to generating the diverse dystopian imaginaries with which this architectural movement is associated today.
