Dynamic visit

Leandre Cristòfol is one of the most prominent figures of the Catalan artistic avant-garde and one of the fundamental artists of the MORERA collection. This itinerary proposes to discover his vital and artistic trajectory while putting it in relation to the great transformations that sculpture experienced during the 20th century.

Throughout the visit, participants will observe how Cristòfol transforms everyday objects, organic forms and simple materials into sculptures full of symbolism and poetry. The tour allows for an understanding of concepts such as abstraction, surrealism, creativity, the transformation of objects and the relationship between art and imagination.

The methodology combines observation of the works with discovery dynamics, open questions and manipulative materials that facilitate the understanding of the artist’s creative process. The activity adapts to different educational levels, especially promoting curiosity, creativity and the ability to interpret different visual languages.

From a curricular point of view , the itinerary especially develops artistic and cultural competence, personal and social competence and entrepreneurial competence, encouraging imagination, creative problem solving and the construction of one’s own interpretations.
