The piece poses a direct question to the future: how long will it take for progress to arrive? But this question is not abstract. It is formulated from the vulnerability of dissident bodies and from the concrete experience of trans people faced with social, legal and cultural structures that often advance more slowly than life itself.
The performance is not intended to be contemplated from a distance, but rather to be experienced bodily. The audience is invited to share in the transit, fragility and temporal tension that inhabits the piece. Here the future ceases to be an abstraction and becomes a physical experience inscribed in the body.
