MORERA Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Lleida
Novelists in front of painting
Organized together with the Municipal Library of Pardinyes
MORERA incorporates a reading club, an initiative that contributes to keeping the tradition of reading alive, promoting critical reflection, dialogue and intercultural understanding. The themes of this book club will always be about the relationship between art and literature, in its different variants.
Throughout the 2024-2025 academic year, writer Emili Bayo proposes a journey through the views that eight novelists have projected on painters and their paintings, from the great Honoré de Balzac to authors closer in time and space We will debate the proximity between two seemingly distant arts, such as narrative and painting.
Bayo will lead the sessions that will be held every first Wednesday of each month , between the months of October and June.
