With Anna Llopis, head of exhibitions at the Picasso Museum in Barcelona

MORERA, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Lleida, hosts the presentation ceremony of the donation of the artist Francesca Llopis to the City Council of Lleida, destined for the MORERA collections. A set of 6 works

Francesca Llopis is a Catalan visual artist who works mainly with painting, drawing, installations and video creation. Her work has moved between the neo-expressionism of the eighties and more poetic and conceptual proposals linked to memory, nature, the body and travel. Francesca Llopis is a valuable figure because she helps to explain a narrative that is still often underrepresented: that of the Catalan artists who in the eighties and nineties expanded the pictorial language towards hybrid and experiential practices, in parallel with figures such as Fina Miralles or Eulàlia Grau.

The presentation will be attended by the Councilor for Culture, Pilar Bosch , and the artist. The event will close with a conversation between Anna Llopis and the artist herself.
