MORERA Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Lleida
Presentation of the donation made by Montse Gort to MORERA. A set of 752 drawings by her brother, the cartoonist and writer Jordi Gort (Lleida, 1960-2013), which include the originals of the different editions of his best-known series, the Extracts of the Stellar Survival Manual , the self-published fanzines with “ Autoedicions catalanes ”, comics and various illustrations, among which the sets of Tarot cards and the Chinese horoscope should be highlighted.
The presentation will be given by the artist’s sister, Montse Gort, the poet and writer Amat Baró , a popularizer and specialist in the work of Jordi Gort and Francesc Gabarrell, museum technician and specialist and popularizer of comic.
