Presentation of the artist’s book Bhreg , a limited edition artist’s book, signed and numbered, which brings together seven large-format woodcuts by Jordi Jové and a screen-printed poem by the poet Vicenç Altaió . These images-constellations of the authors’ own icons, and other references, pass through the filter of memory and are interpreted with words through three original poems in Catalan (and translated into Spanish, French and English) that transfer the primitive chalcographic technique to writing.

Published by the Tinta Invisible publishing house (Barcelona), the word bhreg , from the French bricolatge, has its remote origin in the Germanic word bricole , built with the Indo-European root bhreg (to break). The presentation will be given by the authors, Jordi Jové and Vicenç Altaió , and the professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universities of Barcelona, Teresa Blanch .
