MORERA hosts the presentation of issue 60 of the magazine Arts , published by the Cercle de Belles Arts de Lleida

Arts is a socio-cultural magazine with the vocation of being a tool for dissemination and reflection at the service of Allò Artístic. We do not limit ourselves ideologically because the artistic fact is too complex to delimit the margins and too free to place mental barriers that end up becoming fashions. Nor do we limit ourselves geographically, because we despise both the fearful and shopaholic provincialism of the shop and the uniformizing and amorphous universalism with which the cosmopolitans of the café dress. We do not give up understanding the world of art from the Catalan perspective, our localism globalizes us.

Content of the magazine

Sixty issues of a publication that celebrates thirty-five years of history. This new edition includes the dossier “The Twilight of the West”, coordinated by the philosopher and educator Ramon Camats , and which analyzes the concept of liberation from ignorance and fear, in a world that has generated new and sophisticated forms of domination to culminate in phenomena such as fascism, totalitarianism and mass culture. The pedagogue Isabel del Arco , the philosophers Montse Garcia and Lluís Montull , the biologist Antoni López , the writer and science communicator, and the sociologist Fidel Molina participate.
