Must we always understand everything that is depicted in art? Why do some artists only paint with straight lines and colours?

In this workshop, you’ll see how the prominent artistic trend shifted from figuration to abstraction through pieces contained in the museum’s collection. You will then put yourselves in the shoes of these artists and create your own piece of abstract art.

Activity recommended for children aged 5 and above (*).

(*) General comments:

Both adults and children need to purchase a ticket.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or grandparent.
Groups of children accompanied by a single adult are not permitted. This is a family activity.
