The MORERA. Modern and Contemporary Art Museum of Lleida, in line with our strong commitment to universal accessibility, strives to ensure quality attention to audiences of different characteristics in all of our services.
One of the museum’s main objectives is to make its services and activities accessible to everyone. For this reason, the principle of accessibility underpins all aspects of the museum’s management. It strives to apply it in all of its areas and services.
Those with mobility problems may be dropped off at the designated drop-off area in front of the entrance to the building (Rambla de Ferran, 13).
The nearest free car parks are the President Josep Tarradellas and the Champs Elisis car park
The nearest train station is the Lleida-Pirineus station, where you can catch both rodalies and high speed trains.
The L1 and L8 inter-city buses stop off at the Audiència stop close to the museum.
Regional buses departing from other municipalities stop off at the Lleida-Pirineus bus station.
The museum has two entrances:
From 1 October to 31 May, the museum is open from 10 AM to 2 PM and from 4-6 PM from Tuesday to Saturday and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Sundays and public holidays.
From 1 June to 30 September, the museum is open from 10 AM to 2 PM and from 5-7 PM from Tuesday to Saturday and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Sundays and public holidays.
The museum will remain closed on 25 and 26 December and 1 and 6 January.
The general admission ticket costs €5, while concession tickets cost €2.5.

MORERA Community members can access the museum for free every Tuesday throughout the year.

The MORERA is housed inside a five-storey building with an open interior courtyard, known as the atrium, which connects the entire construction through a single opening of light.
The building is accessed via the ground-level main entrance on Rambla de Ferran, 13, or the disabled access on Carrer Baixada de l’Audiència.
The museum’s ground floor has its information point, gift shop, digital atrium, toilets and tanneries.
The first floor, which can be reached by stairs or lift, has a vestibule and a space dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
The second floor has a vestibule and a space dedicated to the museum’s permanent collection.
The third floor also has a vestibule and a space dedicated to the museum’s permanent collection.
The fourth floor has a vestibule, the museum’s administrative and technical service offices and the Store Room, where the artwork is maintained and preserved.
The fifth floor has a vestibule, a classroom, a function room and a terrace.
The museum is always accessed via the ground floor, where the visitor information and ticket sales point is located.
The reception desk is adapted to the height of wheelchair users.
The museum has tactile foot-activated routes which lead from the entrances to the information point, the haptic/tactile floor plan and the lift.
The reception has an audio induction loop service.
The reception has lockers at different heights. Mid-height lockers are reserved for wheelchair users.
Portable folding chairs can be loaned from reception.
An audio guide service is available.
There are inclusive, accessible toilets with baby changing facilities on the ground floor, which are identified with regular printed signage and with Braille.
Each of the museum’s upper floors are connected by stairs and lift.
The lift button panels have standard printed numbers, Braille and high relief.
The lift also has an audible warning system that announces the floor on which it is currently located.
All of the museum’s staircases have bi-directional signage in standard print and Braille. This is located on the handrail or, in the case of the main staircase, on the wall. This lets you know where you are and where you are heading at all times, regardless of whether you’re going up or down.
The vestibules on the ground floor and floors 1, 2 and 3 have benches.
Accredited guide dogs are allowed anywhere in the building.
All floors have tactile floor plans. These contain a directory for the entire building, details of the floor on which the plan is located, enlarged print, relief and Braille.
The tactile floor plans are located to the right of the lift doors on all floors. The only exception is the ground floor, where the plan is indicated by the markings on the floor.
The function room on the fifth floor also has an audio induction loop system.
The museum is a space of co-existence. Please talk quietly to ensure that other visitors are not disturbed.
Due to the danger posed to other visitors and the works of art on display, please refrain from running around the museum’s exhibition rooms.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

No animals are allowed inside the museum, with the exception of accredited guide dogs.
The works of art are delicate. Please keep a safe distance and refrain from touching them or pointing at them with sharp objects (such as pens, pencils, walking sticks or umbrellas).
Backpacks and other bulky objects should be left in the lockers on the ground floor.
No food or drink can be taken into the exhibition rooms.
The use of bicycles, roller skates or wheeled shoes inside the museum is prohibited.
Smoking is prohibited anywhere in the building.
The capacity of the museum’s spaces is limited and duly indicated at the entrance to each space.
Photographs and videos for personal use may be taken inside the exhibition spaces. However, the use of flash and tripods is strictly prohibited.
