The MULBERRY Museu d’Art Modern i Contemporani de Lleida, in accordance with its commitment to universal accessibility, works so that all its services offer quality attention to diverse audiences.

Facilitating access to the Museum’s services and activities for all people is one of the priority objectives. For this reason, accessibility is integrated into the Museum’s management and efforts are being made to apply it to all areas and services.

  • The opening hours of the Museum in winter, from October 1 to May 31, are: from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays from 10 a.m. at 2 p.m.

     

    In summer, from June 1 to September 30, the Museum is open: from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm and, on Sundays and public holidays, from 10 am to 2 pm.

    The Museum will be closed on December 25 and 26 and January 1 and 6.

  • General admission to the Museum costs 5 euros and reduced admission costs 2.5 euros.

    They can take advantage of the reduced entry:

    • People with a large family or single parent card
    • People with a student card (national or international)
    • People with a Youth Card
    • People over 65 years old
    • Holders of a teacher’s card
    • Groups of more than 10 people
    • School groups on free visits accompanied by their teachers
    • University groups on free visits accompanied by their teachers
    • People who access the Museum one hour before closing

    Entry is free on the first Tuesday of every month and all year round for people who are part of the MORERA Community .

  • The MORERA building has five floors and an open courtyard in the middle, the atrium, which vertically connects the entire structure through a light entrance.

    Access to the building is on floor 0 through the main entrance, at Rambla de Ferran, number 13, or from the accessible entrance, at Carrer Baixada de l’Audiència.

    Once inside, on floor 0 there is the information point, a shop, the digital atrium, toilets and tanneries.

    The stairs or the lift lead to the first floor, where there is a lobby and an exhibition space dedicated to temporary exhibitions.

    On the second floor there is a lobby and an exhibition space dedicated to the Museum’s permanent collection.

    On the third floor there is also a lobby and an exhibition space dedicated to the Museum’s permanent collection.

    On the fourth floor there is a lobby, the Museum’s administration, the offices of the technical services and the reserve room where the works of art are maintained.

    On the fifth and last floor there is a lobby, the educational classroom, a multipurpose room and the terrace.

  • Entrance to the museum is always through floor 0, where the visitor information and ticket sales point is located.

    The counter is adapted to the height of wheelchairs.

  • The museum has foot-tactile routes from the entrances to reach the information point, the haptic/tactile floor plan and the elevator.

  • The information space has a magnetic loop.

  • In the information area there are lockers at different heights. Those located at a medium height are reserved for people in wheelchairs.

  • There is a loan service for portable folding chairs.

  • There is an audio guide loan service.

  • On floor 0 there are inclusive, accessible toilets with baby changing facilities. They are marked with ink and braille.

Vertical and horizontal circulation

  • All upper floors of the Museum can be accessed both by stairs and by elevator.

  • The elevator buttons have visible numbers, in braille and in high relief.

    The elevator also has a sound warning system that announces the floor you are on.

  • The stairs throughout the building have two-way signage in ink and braille on the handrail or, in the case of the main staircase, on the wall. This allows you to know where you are and where the stairs lead both when you go up and when you go down.

  • There are benches for resting in the lobbies on floors 0, 1, 2 and 3.

  • Duly accredited assistance dogs are allowed access to the entire building.

  • All floors have tactile maps of the situation. They have the directory of the whole building, the detail of the plant, enlarged font, relief and braille.

    Touchmaps are found exiting the elevator, on the left wall on all floors except Floor 0, where it is found by following the walkthrough.

  • The multipurpose room on the fifth floor has a magnetic loop.

Good practices and regulations of the Museum

  • The Museum is a space for coexistence where it is necessary to use a low tone of voice to respect everyone’s enjoyment.

  • Because of the danger it poses both to other visitors and to the works of art, it is forbidden to run through the Museum’s exhibition rooms.

  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • All groups must confirm the visit in advance by sending an email to publicsmorera@paeria.cat or by calling 973 700 419.

  • In the event that there is a disabled person in the group or a specific need for educational support, we recommend that you notify us in advance by sending an email to publicsmorera@paeria.cat or by calling 973700419.

  • Animals are not allowed in the museum, except for properly accredited assistance dogs.

  • Works of art are fragile. You must keep a prudent distance and avoid touching them or pointing at them with sharp objects (pencils, pens, sticks or umbrellas).

  • Backpacks and other bulky items must be left in the lockers on floor 0.

  • It is not allowed to enter the exhibition halls with food or drink.

  • The use of bicycles, skates or shoes with wheels inside the Museum is prohibited.

  • Smoking is prohibited throughout the building.

  • The capacity of the different spaces of the Museum is limited and is indicated in each place.

  • Photographs and videos may be taken in the exhibition halls for personal use. In no case is the use of flash or tripods allowed.
