Education and heritage are a fundamental combination not only in the field of formal education, but also in non-formal education and in the permanent education of citizens.

The central theme of the IV edition of the Heritage and Education Days will be the didactics of the object and the educational possibilities offered by these within the museum space.

The purpose of the day is to open a space for training, debate and knowledge of experiences. It is aimed at heritage and museum professionals, university students and teaching staff in general.

The morning sessions will be held at MORERA Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Lleida, where we will have the intervention of Queralt Solé , professor of Contemporary History and the Current World at the University of Barcelona, ​​and adviser to the exhibition “Another story”, and the experiences of the MORERA Museum itself, the Camp of Learning of the Walnut , the Cervera Museum, the Solsona Diocesan and County Museum , and the Cal Trepat Agricultural Mechanization Museum in Tàrrega .

In the afternoon we will move to the Museu de Lleida for a practical session at the temporary exhibition “Another story” , which presents almost a hundred everyday objects that explain the personal stories behind each of them and that , at the same time, they form a mosaic that presents the history of our country over the last hundred years.
